According to nb1.hu, Riccardo Piscitelli could be on his way to Újpest FC. A major sign was him missing from the lineup against Fehérvár, he wasn't even on the bench. This led to the speculation that Mezőkövesd is preparing for the next season in the second division and they have to rebuild the squad, potentially selling or letting expensive players go.

Információink szerint a 30 éves játékos már orvosi vizsgálaton is részt vett, és mivel Mezőkövesden a nyáron lejár a szerződése, már alá is írhat a lilákhoz.
Nemzeti Sport has also confirmed the information from nb1.hu and added that Piscitelli has already had his medical at Újpest and due to the fact that his contract is expiring at the end of the season, he could sign his contract any day which would make him an Újpest player by July.
